BBC SEBASTOPOL joined the fleet

The latest addition to our fleet, the BBC SEBASTOPOL, entered service in the middle of October. Belonging to the growing family of F500-type vessels in our fleet, she was built at Taizhou Sanfu Ship Engineering in Taizhou, China. The vessel is owned and managed by our sister company Briese Schiffahrts GmbH & Co. KG in Leer and has a deadweight capacity of 12,325 mtons. At an overall length of 147.2 m and a breadth of 22.8 m, the ship is equipped with two Liebherr heavy-lift cranes with a combined lifting capacity of up to 500 mtons. Her MAN-B&W main engine ensures an economical service speed of 15 knots. Delivered to her owners at the end of September, the new vessel joined the fleet of BBC Chartering in Taicang in early October and has now concluded her first commercial voyage to the Mediterranean.
