Shipping accounts for a significant proportion of global greenhouse gas emissions.
This places a great responsibility on all shipping companies. It must be the joint
effort of everyone involved to reduce these emissions quickly and effectively if we
are serious about leaving behind a habitable planet for future generations.
We at BBC Chartering accept this responsibility. We are committed, in close
cooperation with our stakeholders and partners, to do our part to reduce these
harmful emissions. This represents the most important and equally challenging
sustainability issue.
