BBC Andino Express Line: Low Sulfur Surcharge and General Rate Increase Notice

Dear Customers,

BBC Chartering announces a Low Sulfur / Bunker Adjustment Surcharge and General Rate Increase due to the significant increase in fuel prices and the sustained rise in operational costs. Therefore, we will be implementing an adjustment to the below-stated surcharges effective April 17, 2022. The surcharges will apply to all southbound shipments for the BBC Andino Express Line Service between the United States and West Coast South America, effective for Ecuador, Peru, and Chile.

Low Sulfur Surcharge

Break-bulk / Project Cargo: USD 95.00 W/M (1,000kg/1cbm)

20 Foot Container (All Types): USD 400.00 per unit

40 Foot Container (All Types): USD 800.00 per unit

Note: the above replaces the current Low Sulfur Surcharges

Base Ocean Freight: Additional USD 25.00 W/M (1,000 kg/1cbm)

20 Foot Container (All Types): Additional USD 500.00 per unit
