Delays in Port of Callao, Peru

BBC Chartering would like to inform you about the severe berth congestion in the port of Callao,
Peru. The delays are increasing due vessel congestion and lack of yard space at APM Terminals.
The vessel berthing delays can be up to 15 days, and it is unclear how long this congestion will last.
BBC Chartering will endeavor to maintain Callao as a base port of call. In the meantime, to avoid
extra costs for the Merchant and the Carrier, the service will be temporarily modified now calling the
port of Callao / Pisco – First available berth. The port of discharge will be nominated 48 hours after
the vessel sails the port of Houston. We thank you and truly value your continued support.
